Exploring Vaduz!

We had a great travel day from Switzerland to Liechtenstein. We knew we were going to have a Regional Learning experience right when we got into town, but no one told us what it was. I was excited for the surprise. We pulled into a bus stop and were told to get off with all of our carry-on baggage. I made a joking remark that our regional learning was going to be dragging all of our luggage through Liechtenstein. Turns out, it wasn't that much of a joke! Our regional learning was an "Amazing Race" style day of exploring the city! We had to bring all of our luggage and find our way to our allocation meeting via public transportation and a list of places to see. FUN!

Our group was great and we had an absolutely FANTASTIC day exploring Vaduz. This city is STUNNING. Words can't describe the sheer beauty - it takes your breath away when you stand in the Marktplatz and realize you're surrounded by the Alps and you're staring straight up at the Royal Family's CASTLE. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves!

We eventually made it to our allocation location and had a little bit of time before meeting our host families. I found out I'd be rooming with Liz from Arizona and a single woman, Heda. Our host code was Finding Nemo! We had a humorous time trying to fit ALL of our luggage into her tiny, TINY car, but we made it work!
