Traveling with Up With People is an incredible experience, but it comes at a cost. While it is wonderful that Up With People finances 2/3rds of every cast member's journey, the other third is left up to each individual. That third amounts to a BIG total...around $17,000 (not including spending money, etc.)! Since I don't have that much "chump-change" lying around, I'll be busy fundraising and working to raise enough money for my incredible six-month journey.
